The Gowrie Locomotive Trust 

Following last weeks update we can now show you how much further the wheelsets have progressed. You can see that all the tyres have now been turned ready for fitting to the wheel castings, one of which is shown set up for machining. The axles have also received their initial machining, one of them is shown in the lower part of the third illustration. Since progress is now very rapid and it is anticipated that the wheelsets will be completed around the end of this month, the necessity to raise the remaining funds is becoming urgent to avoid going too far into our reserves.
